I have been eating lots of good healthy foods. I haven't had any red meat, no butter, no more 2% milk either. I now drink skim milk and hardly notice the difference. Animal fat is not good for your body, it's pure cholesterol. Here's a few pictures of what I have been eating. Hahahha! I know you are saying "God, get a life!" Well when I decide to do something, I try to go all the way. Anyway, you should try these dishes, they are so good, and sooo good for you. Grilled Chicken salad. Grilled Chicken Salads - Looks good huh? The ingredients are baby spinach, arugala, brocholi, yellow bell pepper, chopped tomato, red onions (better for you than white). This is topped with grilled chicken breast. For dressing I use good seasons mix using Olive Oil (the best oil for you) and then add a little balsamic vinegar to the regular mix. I like a little extra vinegar anyway. I didn't grill the chicken outside. Here's how I do it. I take a package of chicken breasts and pound them out flat with a meat pounder. hahaha I don't know what they are called. Then I fry them in a little olive oil and sesame seed oil. About 3-4 minutes each side. The twist is that while it is fying, drip some Worcestershire sauce (what's this here sauce) it gives it a smokey flavor like it was taken off a grill! Try it, you'll like it. Roasted Turkey Legs Roasted turkey legs are delicious. I hardly ever had turkey unless it was Thanksgiving. I just never thought of just buying the turkey parts. I have these at least once a week. I usually make a baked sweet potato and have a garden salad with it and a peice of french bread. Dulicious I put them in a baking dish on a bed of half onions. I rubb them with olive oil, and then sprinkle all sides with sea salt, fresh ground pepper, and some garlic powder. I also add some white wine to the dish and cover it for the first 20 minutes. Then unvocer and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown and the meat is falling off the bones. Veggie Salad Fresh Garden Veggie Salad - For my vegetarian friends, I also eat lots of salads for lunch and dinner that don't have any meat. This salad has a full package of baby asparagus (boiled for only a few minutes) and is placed on a bed of arugala and baby spinach, it also has brocholi, chopped tomato and green peppers, and 1/4 of an orange bell pepper. I use the same dressing as the one I mentioned above. It's very important not to overcook your asparagus, otherwise it will be mushy and gooey. The veggies in this salad are some of the best for you, esspecially your heart. They are rich in vitamins and minerals. If you can get off the iceburg lettuce, which is made of little more than water, you will be doing your self a flavor. The greener the veggie the more rich it is in nutrients. If you don't believe me you can read about it here .
