Salem at work

I just got back from Salem's vet's office.  He got the results back from Salem's biopsy of the lumps on his spleen which was removed 2 weeks ago.  They were benign!  I am so happy with this news.  I was dreading going in today to have his stitches removed and get the results, but it turned out for the best. 

It would have totally sucked losing my second dog child, so close to losing Greta .  This has been a very long Spring for us, but thank god we don't have to deal with cancer again.  He will be getting weekly shots of mistletoe extract (it stops tumour growth) just to be sure. 

That's a picture of him at work with me.  He used to love coming in with me when I worked the midnight to 8AM shift.  I always had snacks, and he loved sleeping under my desk rather than wait for me to get home in the mornings. Such a good dog.
