I just got off the phone talking with mom.  We were talking about one of my favorite meals that she would cook when I was a boy; roast beef dinner.  Yum, what could beat a rost beef with mashed potatoes and red wine gravy???  This is a picture I just took of a roast beef that I am cooking tonight.  Me and Salem will have a feast, although it's only a two pound roast.

I asked mom to put some of her best recipes onthe site.  I can't wait to get her apple bread recipe.  It's so frikin good it melts in your mouth. She said she got that one hand written form her mom, and that it's so old you can barley read it anymore.

By the way mom, do you recognize the baking dish?  You bought it for me in Lucca, Italy a couple years ago. I got the idea to lay the meat on a bed of onions from dad.  He gave me a BBQ ribs recipe which required the laying on of ribs upon a bed of onions. Delicious.
