Jumping off the psychic cliff: A new beginning for an atypical medium.
I have jumped, quite literally, off the psychic cliff! I am scared, freaked out, nervous, anxious, excited, ambitious, and more than a little determined to make things work.Ok, let me back up! A month ago I found myself exactly where I did not want to be. Spiritually exhausted, living at home, with a college degree I wasn't using, and trying to sell postage meters to Candians at a dead-end telemarketing job. In my mind, I had a plan. It was a means to an end, I'd tell myself every morning as I gulped down significant mouthfuls of coffee trying to energize myself for the absolutely depleting day I was about to endure. I would never have counseled someone in a reading to continue on like this, but because I felt it was the responsible thing to do, I did not make any changes to this miserable routine.

Old Practice, New Clothing: The Difference Between Old and New Mediums
Mediums and psychics have been around for a long time. Yes, even longer than Sylvia Browne's fossilized nails, which I know is hard to believe. As I sat in my office, I found myself reflecting on some of the psychic greats throughout history: Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, and most likely a few old hags who lived in caves. As a side note, I am pretty sure the universe knew what it was doing when it sent me to a 21st century middle class neighborhood instead of to some dingy cave decorated by crude rust colored paintings of wolves and other beasts I hope to never encounter. It's not that I couldn't survive in the wild, it's that I don't want to. Alright, that was a lie, I couldn't survive in the wild. As I thought about the different psychics and mediums throughout history I couldn't help but wonder, What is the difference between the psychics of old and the mediums of lately?

Jill Dahne's 2 year old prediction comes true: She's batting 1000 now.
I don't have enough good things to say about her. Jill Dahne is an incredibly accurate psychic. My first reading with Jill was almost two years ago.
